Join me for the Nithsdale Creative Hustings

Posted by sallyhinchcliffe on April 23, 2012

On Wednesday, I appear to have allowed myself to be roped into chairing the Nithsdale Creative Arts Hustings in Dumfries. This is a chance for anyone interested in the arts in the area to ask their local politicians how they will support the arts.

The event starts at 7pm at the Brigend Theatre in Dumfries. Any suggestions for questions gratefully received!

Don’t Forget – Edinburgh Event 19th August

Posted by sallyhinchcliffe on August 15, 2009

Just a quick reminder to anyone who may be interested – I will be appearing alongside Thomas Legendre at Word Power Books in Edinburgh on Wednesday the 19th August – more details here.

Legendre’s book, The Burning is a thrilling tale about  ‘sex, economics, ecology, gambling, and astrophysics.’  While I’ll be reading from Out of A Clear Sky, a tale of love, obsession, birds and madness. I think you’ll find that that’s a winning combination.

Oh, and it’s free!
